Each fall and spring our Connection Groups are committed to doing a service project together as a practical way to demonstrate God's love to our community. In the fall of 2007, we conducted "Project Brown Bag" - an opportunity that provided 350 bags of groceries to 120 different apartment residents. In the spring of 2008, we conducted "Queen for a Day" - a project that adopted several teenage moms from local high schools and provided them with breakfast, lunch, free manicures and pedicures, and a car load worth of gifts and supplies for each girl and their child.
